Aluminum sulfate, with the chemical formula Al₂(SO₄)₃, is a widely used inorganic compound. It typically appears as colorless to white crystalline solids or powders and is highly soluble in water. It is also known as cake alum or papermaker's alum.

• Appearance: It is usually found in the form of white crystalline powder or granules. When hydrated, it can form colorless to pale yellow crystals.

• Solubility: Highly soluble in water, forming a clear solution. It is also soluble in acids and alcohols.

• Density: The density of aluminum sulfate is approximately 2.67 g/cm³.

• Melting Point: It decomposes at around 770°C, releasing sulfur trioxide and forming aluminum oxide.

1.Water Treatment
