Products Description
Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate (CAS No. 7791-18-6) is a crystalline solid with white or colorless appearance, soluble in water and ethanol. It is processed via refined extraction and crystallization technology, effectively removing impurities like heavy metals and insoluble substances. With stable chemical properties and consistent quality, it serves as a critical raw material for industries such as construction, food processing, and metallurgy globally.
• Appearance: It is usually in the form of white or colorless crystalline powder or solid with a distinct crystalline structure.
• Solubility: Highly soluble in water and ethanol. It dissolves quickly in water to form a clear solution and can also dissolve in boiling water and other organic solvents.
• Hygroscopicity: Due to its six water molecules of crystallization, it has strong hygroscopicity and is prone to deliquescence in humid environments.
• Density and Melting Point: The density is approximately 1.56 g/cm³, and it decomposes at a melting point of around 116 - 118℃.
